Hitchin Office

Arriving by road.

From junction 8 of the A1 turn to the west and, quite literally, you can't miss it. Just keep going for three miles until you come to the roundabout marked with an 'X' on the map. (It's the first one you come to.)

From junction 10 of the M1, head towards Luton airport and pick up the signs to Hitchin - for most of the way it's a fast dual-carriageway. The distance is nine miles from the M1 (which makes it about eight miles from Luton airport). When you get to Hitchin, turn right (around what passes for the Hitchin by-pass) which is signposted to Stevenage. Again you will come to the roundabout marked with an 'X' on the map.

At the roundabout which is a few hundred yards from our office, turn left (from the M1) or right (from the A1) down the hill until you come to a mini-roundabout. Turn left at that roundabout and our office is immediately on your right

There is some parking available at the office (let us know in advance) but there are several short term car-parks around the market - about 200 yards from the office - and a long-term car park half-way to the station. They are marked on the map.

Arriving by rail.

Hitchin has a railway station and it's on the line out of King's Cross to the north-east. Not all trains stop here and you may be better off changing at Stevenage when coming from London or Peterborough when coming from the North. That line goes through Grantham and Doncaster and there is another line out to Cambridge so connections with the rest of the country are pretty good.

It's a (fairly leisurely) fifteen-minute walk from the station but there is, of course, a taxi rank right outside.

Leave the station and turn left on the main road. Just keep going until you see a "Netto" supermarket on your right. Turn right at the mini-roundabout and you're there.
